Tommy Prine

Although singer-songwriter Tommy Prine grew up surrounded by music, learning fingerpicking from his father, country-folk musician John Prine, at the age of 10 and sometimes joining him on stage, he didn’t seriously consider music as a career until after his father’s death in 2020. Endeavoring to create distinct and independent music from his father, his songs are strong and introspective with a roots-rock edge that builds on established tradition while breaking free from the past.
