Annual Minnesota Snow Sculpting Competition featuring 3-person sculpting teams from around Minnesota. The giant snow slide will be back this year. Spectators are encouraged to enter the fairgrounds at the main gate off Snelling Avenue and follow the directional signage to the snow sculpture area.

The North Star Roller Girls, Minneapolis' own women's flat track roller derby league, are excited to announce their 2015 - 2016 season at the State Fair's Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum. The former hockey venue will be trading blades for quad skates as the four home teams battle each other tournament style.
