Note: The Media Relations Hotline is answered leading up to and after fair time Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (except state holidays), and then during fair time Monday, Aug. 24, 2020, through Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. For each request, include your name, publication/station and deadline date. Also, please share the subject of your story. This will allow us to identify the appropriate person and best resources available to fill the media request.
This Twitter account tweets official Minnesota State Fair news, special announcements and other newsworthy fair happenings intended for media use only. These tweets will streamline the process of disseminating information, especially during times with breaking news. All official updates will be posted via this account. The account is protected and requires members of the media to send a “follow” request via the @MSFMedia account.

The Minnesota State Fair is one of the largest and best-attended expositions in the world, attracting more than 2 million visitors annually. Showcasing Minnesota’s finest agriculture, art and industry, the Great Minnesota Get-Together is always 12 Days of Fun Ending Labor Day. The 2020 Minnesota State Fair runs Aug. 27-Labor Day, Sept. 7.
