Get your group together at Heffron Park’s Horton Pavilions during the State Fair! Located just east of the Grandstand, this by-reservation-only picnic area welcomes groups, rain or shine. A great place for company picnics, appreciation dinners, class reunions, anniversary parties or family celebrations!

Groups arriving at the State Fair by bus may use the University of Minnesota Transitway to avoid traffic and park in a designated lot for free!
Groups arriving at the fair by charter bus and wanting to park in the Charter Bus Lot must use Highway 280 and exit on Energy Park Drive. Head east and turn onto the University of Minnesota Transitway and drive directly into the fairgrounds and park in the Charter Bus Lot for free. See a map. Groups can also utilize one of approximately 30 free Park & Ride lots or other bus routes to get to the fair, including State Fair Express buses, Metro Transit buses and the light rail.
Reward your group with Fairborne Bucks! Fairborne Bucks are the perfect way to treat members of your group to food and beverage options throughout the fairgrounds. Each of these dining vouchers has a value of $5 and may be used toward purchases at approximately 40 concession locations. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash; however, change will be given. Fairborne Bucks are available for purchase only through the Minnesota State Fair Ticket Office. Contact the ticket office at 651-288-4427.

The State Fair Blue Ribbon Bargain Book, sponsored by Minnesota Lottery, is just $5 and has 100 coupons with huge savings on food, merchandise and attractions, valid all 12 days of the fair. Pass the books around and let everyone clip their favorite coupons, or offer Bargain Books to each member of your group as a prize or gift! Purchase books wherever pre-fair discount admission tickets are sold before the fair begins. Books are available during the fair at State FairWear Gift Shops and Bargain Book & State Fair Poster Carts.
