Semisonic

Minneapolis rock band Semisonic, featuring GRAMMY-winning and Oscar-nominated lead vocalist Dan Wilson, John Munson and Jacob Slichter, is best known for the GRAMMY-nominated, massive hit single “Closing Time” and platinum album “Feeling Strangely Fine.” Semisonic also achieved international success with singles “Secret Smile” and “Singing In My Sleep.” Although the band never officially broke up, they parted ways in the early 2000s, periodically reuniting for one-offs and charity performances. During this hiatus, Wilson became one of the most in-demand songwriters in music and a 3x GRAMMY winner for his work with Adele, The Chicks and Chris Stapleton. In 2020, Semisonic reunited to release the band’s first music in 20 years with the critically acclaimed single and EP “You’re Not Alone.” In 2023, they released a full-length album, “Little Bit of Sun,” and toured the U.S. with Barenaked Ladies.
