Mental Health Awareness Day: Alivia Lor

Alivia Lor is a young Hmong-American artist, and a first to develop Hmong dragon dancing. Originally from Minneapolis, she now studies at the University of Minnesota-Duluth as an undergraduate for psychology and cultural entrepreneurship, with a focus on business administrations. Alivia has always had a love and drive for Hmong cultural arts, and as such, has begun to develop a new twist on Hmong dance and storytelling through her own craftsmanship and artistic skills. She aims to not only use her innovation to bring more awareness of the Hmong people, but to also encourage those in the Hmong community to explore their own cultural heritage. Part of Mental Health Awareness at Dan Patch Park.
