APRIL 9 UPDATE FOR CURRENT 2019-2020 STORAGE CUSTOMERS

We are currently gathering information and having conversations regarding the storage removal dates and process in light of Minnesota’s recent extension of the stay at home order. As of 10 a.m. on April 9, 2020, we have not made any final decisions on whether or not to change the below dates. If you signed up for storage email alerts, look for an email Monday, April 13, and expect a phone call or letter in the coming days regardless of changes being made or not. If you haven’t signed up for email alerts, please email fairinfo@mnstatefair.org with your email address to be added to the list. We know that your property is important to you, and we want to get it back in your possession as soon as we can do so responsibly. The situation is ever-changing, and we take the health and safety of all Minnesotans seriously. We are working toward a solution that makes sense for everyone. Thank you for your patience.

MARCH 26 UPDATE: 2019-2020 STORAGE REMOVAL DATES HAVE CHANGED

Please email fairinfo@mnstatefair.org with your email address to be added to our storage updates email list.

Due to the executive order issued by the governor requiring Minnesotans to stay at home, we have pushed back the storage removal dates by two weeks. For example, if you were scheduled to remove your unit on Wednesday, April 8, you will now remove it Wednesday, April 22, AT THE SAME TIME AS PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED. If you were supposed to pick it up at 11 a.m., you will still pick it up at 11 a.m., just two weeks later. The new spring move-out dates are listed below:

  • Wednesday, April 22 – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 23 – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday, April 24 – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 25 – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If we have further updates, we will send them out via the storage updates email list.

The Minnesota State Fair stores automobiles, trucks, boats, motor homes, travel trailers, etc., in exhibit and livestock buildings from late October until late March/early April of each year.

We will begin accepting appointment cards for the 2020-2021 storage season after Aug. 1, 2020. To obtain a spot in the program, print and mail in an appointment card form for each unit you intend on storing, and list your top choices for the move-in dates and times available.

Storage space is allocated on a first-come basis.

After you fill out your appointment card, send it in with a $20 non-refundable deposit fee to:

Minnesota State Fair
Storage Department
1265 Snelling Ave. N.
St. Paul, MN 55108

Your appointment will be confirmed by mail within 30-45 days of receipt.
