Ragamala Training Center Student Ensemble

Under the leadership of Artistic Directors Ranee Ramaswamy and Aparna Ramaswamy, the Ragamala Training Center is dedicated to training students in the classical South Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam. Guided by a philosophy of lineage-based education, the Center offers a rigorous and immersive experience for youth and community members, led by esteemed instructors. Through performances by our student ensemble, audiences experience the depth and vibrancy of South Asian performing arts traditions. As an extension of Ragamala Dance Company’s mission, the Training Center promotes access to Bharatanatyam, ensuring that students of all backgrounds have the opportunity to engage deeply with this profound and expressive art form. These pop-up performances are part of the State Fair's Arts A'Fair program.
