Pollution from wood smoke and everyday activities like driving and mowing the lawn can impact health and the environment. Visit the exhibits in our air quality area to learn about changes you can make to help reduce air pollution and protect your health. This year, fairgoers can learn how to replace gas-powered equipment like cars, lawn mowers and snow blowers with human or electric-powered versions and have a positive impact on the environment; learn about the impacts of wood burning; and talk with MPCA meteorologists about air-quality alerts.
