Climate Change

Learn a little, play a little, and leave with a good dose of hope that people can find solutions to climate change. Minnesota has a goal to reduce our emissions of heat-trapping greenhouse gases, or carbon emissions, to net-zero by 2050. There is a lot the state and all of us can do to help meet that goal.

NEW THIS YEAR: What are the biggest sources of climate pollution? Explore our tabletop interactive and climate pollution quiz to find out. Learn how to reduce food’s impact on our climate by adjusting how we grow, process, distribute, make and dispose of our food. Electrification means replacing appliances that use coal, oil or gas with ones that use electricity. Can you pull out the old appliances without tripping the buzzer in our “operation” game? And learn about the dangers of increasing extreme heat events – learn how to stay cool and grab a fan.
