From brand-new to tried-and-true – rides, concessions and exhibits have some new spots to discover at the fair.

  • Save Big ALL DAY on Mighty Midway and Kidway Rides & Games
    • The number of tickets required to ride and play is reduced on Thursday, Aug. 27; Monday, Aug. 31; Tuesday, Sept. 1; Wednesday, Sept. 2; and Labor Day, Sept. 7. (These all-day promotions replace the former early bird specials.)
  • Summer Lakes Boat House
    • A brand-new building complete with indoor and outdoor seating! Stop in for food, 21+ specialty drinks and beer, mocktails, live music and more on the North End. Created by Summer Lakes Beverage, located on the southwest corner of Randall Avenue & Underwood Street.
  • Minnesota State Patrol Day
    • Now on Opening Day, Aug. 27, stop by the North End to see new and vintage squad cars, chat with troopers, watch K-9 demonstrations and more!
  • Rock Wall & Turbo Bungy
    • Previously located in Adventure Park, these ticketed attractions, perfect for kids, can now be found on the west side of Cooper St. between Randall & Wright avenues just south of The America Wheel.
  • Fair Hours
    • Make sure to check out admission times, hours of operation and barn and exhibit closings so you can maximize your visit to the fair. On our website, we've posted a rundown, including the new Labor Day closing time of 8 p.m.
  • Location Changes
    • Some of your favorite foods & shops may have moved this year. Use the "Location Change" filter in the Fair Finders online or in the Official MN State Fair App to find their new spots!
