Guest Experience Enhancements: Creative Activities, Gate 2, Friends of the Fair Pavilion

Enjoy updated spaces throughout the fairgrounds, including expanded guest entry at Gate 2, significant enhancements to the iconic Creative Activities Building, and a new spot for Friends of the Fair.

Gate 2
- Expanded entry area and added walkways allow for an improved guest experience at Gate 2, located on the north end of the fairgrounds.
Creative Activities Building
- New display cases provide 70 feet of additional exhibit space for craft entries; A newly installed cooler showcases pies and more baking entries, plus provides 30 more feet for baking and canning displays. A brand-new, expanded demonstration and display area features the Weavers Guild of Minnesota. Supported by donors of the Minnesota State Fair Foundation.
Friends of the Fair Pavilion
- This new permanent space will host Friends of the Fair and provide information about the Minnesota State Fair Foundation. Located next to the J.V. Bailey House, the pavilion is dedicated to connecting with members of the Friends of the Fair program, looking up recognition bench, table, brick and tile locations and more!
