Aug. 21 – Labor Day, Sept. 1, 2025
14 Days 9 Hours 43 Mins
Join us in celebrating 85 years since the completion of the historic 4-H Building.
4-H Clubs, originally known as Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs, have participated in the State Fair since 1913, initially exhibiting in the Woman’s Building, Grandstand and tents. By 1930, around 1,200 members were involved. To accommodate growing participation, the 4-H Building was funded through the Works Progress Administration, opening in 1939 and fully completed by 1940. The building now features 4-H exhibits on the ground floor, a cafeteria and auditorium on the second and fair-time dormitories on the third. Celebrating its 85th year, the 4-H Building has hosted hundreds of thousands of 4-H’ers, including more than 4,200 in 2024.
9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (8 p.m. Labor Day).
