The Minnesota State Fairgrounds are open to the public year-round (with the exception of special events; subject to change)
The fairgrounds will not be publicly accessible Aug. 4 to Sept. 4 for the preparation, run and clean up of the 2025 Minnesota State Fair. To visit Aug. 21 to Sept. 1, an admission ticket will be required. Additionally, before and after, access to the area of Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum and the Livestock Complex is limited due to ongoing construction. For more information, visit our Updates page.

Please comply with posted parking and traffic signs, including speed limits. Note: Practice driving is not permitted on the fairgrounds.
We also ask that your inner “Minnesota Nice” guides you as you use the fairgrounds to walk or bike.
