Comedian David Adkins, known as Sinbad, was born in Michigan and began his stand-up comic career on “Star Search,”on which he made it to the finals. After that, he got his television start in 1987 on “A Different World.”In 1990, he did his first HBO comedy special called “Sinbad: Brain Damaged.”Following that, he made a number of appearances in films and television shows, including Houseguest, Good Burger, First Kid, Jingle All The Way and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
