The Horse Show at the Minnesota State Fair is a multi-breed show, consisting of English and Western, a High School Rodeo, and appearances by Charro Jerry Diaz (at selected English, Western Horse Shows & Rodeos in the Warner Coliseum, indicated with an *).

Western Horse Show includes:
- Paint Division (double point, double judged)
- Quarter Horse Division (double point, double judged)

- Western Saddle Club Association Division
High School Rodeo Schedule (Warner Coliseum):
• Wednesday, September 1 — 6:30 p.m.*
• Thursday, September 2 — 11:30 a.m.* (approximately; directly following
Dairy Championship)
• Thursday, September 2 — 6:30 p.m.*
• Friday, September 3 — 6:30 p.m.*
Western Horse Schedule (Warner Coliseum - performance classes):
• Friday, September 3 — noon*
• Saturday, September 4 — 6:30 p.m.*
• Sunday, September 5 — 8 a.m., 12:30* & 6:30 p.m.*
• Monday, September 6 — 8:30 a.m., & 12:30 p.m.*
Western Horse Schedule (Warner Coliseum - halter classes):• Friday, September 3 — 8 a.m.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES FOR ENTRY: The Western Horse Show premium book including saddle club information, is available annually for download in early June. Please check back then. Or, if you prefer to receive a copy by mail, contact the Competition Office at (651) 288-4417 and request to be placed on the Western Horse mailing list. Exhibitors who have entered within the past three years are already included on that list.
VEHICLE ADMISSION/OVERNIGHT PARKING INFORMATION: There is space west of the barns for Livestock and Horse exhibitors to park overnight during the fair.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Until the premium book is posted, please consider the dates and times below to be tentative.
ON-LINE REGISTRATION: Registration and payment for entries on-line will be available for all Western Horse divisions, with the exception of the WSCA classes on June 21. On-line registration will absolutely close on the entry closing date at 4:30 p.m. No late entries may be submitted via the on-line registration process. Entries may also be submitted via mail
