The Tex Pistols formed in 1986 as a side project by Brian C. Peters, Dik Shopteau and Scott “Scooter” Nelson. They play a mix of rock, Americana and country. In 2007, the Tex Pistols decided to take it to the next level, which is when St. Louis’ Boyd Lee joined the group. These four men work together to mix classic and new sound. They perform in the Twin Cities, as well as nationally with renowned artists like The Beach Boys, Prince, Tina Turner and Reba McEntire.
