Born and raised in Rochester, Minn. Scott Novotny has been performing stand-up comedy for 25 years. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter where he majored in theatre, speech and English. He taught junior high English and was theatre director at Dassel-Cokato High School for two years. Scott has written for: HBO, Dudley Rigg’s Brave New Workshop, TV commercials, two children’s plays, “Strange Brew” daily comic strip and “Saturday Nite Live.” His comedy CD “Monu-Mental” was released in 2005. He now teaches classes in stand-up comedy, improvisation and is currently working on a motivational speech.
