The Roe Family Singers started out as a husband-and-wife team of Kim & Quillan Roe, but soon grew to an eight-piece good-time, old-time hillbilly band. Playing a mix of traditional music and songs of their own, they play songs from the Carter Family to Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash to Hank Williams, and everything in between. The indie group of players uses instruments like the standard guitar and bass as well as a washboard, jug and musical saw to create their unique sound.
