This event is sponsored by the Minnesota State Fiddlers Associations. The MSFA has presented the Minnesota State Fiddle Contest at the Minnesota State Fair annually since 1998. Each fiddler that competes in the annual MSFA contest at the Minnesota State Fair receives a free t-shirt. The goal of the MSFA is to keep the heritage of fiddling alive.
