The Marv Nissel Band is a family band from New Ulm, Minn. They have a unique style, which includes a variety of German, Polish and country-flavored polka music. In 1987, this talented band was voted the Number One Variety Band for the State of Minnesota by the Minnesota Ballroom Operators Association (MBOA). They have also been recognized numerous times by the MBOA for their outstanding contribution to the ballroom industry.
