FAIR DEPARTMENTSCompetitionThe very best Minnesota has to offer in livestock, creative arts, farm products and school projects can be found at the Minnesota State Fair. ConcessionsThe concessions and exhibits department is responsible for selecting concessionaires and exhibitors for the annual twelve day exposition. If you are interested in making a commercial presentation at the Minnesota State Fair, please click here. Guest ServicesThe guest services department provides State Fair visitors with information and services to help make the most of each fair visit. Questions and comments may be directed to guestservices@mnstatefair.org. This department also handles special recognition programs such as Century Farms and 50-Year Awards. EmploymentThe Employment Center handles employee recruitment for full-time, seasonal, and fair-time employment positions. The Minnesota State Fair employs full-time staff of 74 people year-round with seasonal staff added in spring and summer plus fair-time staff who begin work on the opening day of the fair. The Employment Center staff will work to help you find a job that suits your skills and talents but there is no guarantee that a position will be available for every applicant. EntertainmentThe entertainment department handles the booking and production of entertainment presented on the Grandstand, Bandshell, Family Fair, Heritage Square, Bazaar, Children's Theater, The Garden and Ramberg Senior Center stages. Responsibilities also include the North Woods, Heritage Square attractions, the annual Milk Run and the State Fair and County Fair amateur talent contests. Mall parades and Old Iron Show are also booked by the Entertainment Department.

Midway Rides, Games and AttractionsThe Minnesota State Fair operates an independent midway.
