ENGLISH HORSE SHOW
The Minnesota State Fair's horse show is a multi-breed show. The first half, the English Horse Show, will run from Wednesday, August 20 through Tuesday, August 26, 2008. The second half, the Western Horse Show, runs Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1, 2008. The Barnes PRCA Championship Rodeo will perform Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, August 27-29, 2008 in the Warner Coliseum.
English Horse Show includes:

- Academy Division
- Equitation Division
- Arabian Division
- Morgan Division
- Hunter Division
- Jumper Division
- Draft Horse Division
- Walking Horse Division
- Miniature Horse Division (double point, double judged)
Texas Trick Riders
The Texas Trick Riders who will perform at all paid horse shows and the Minnesota State Fair Bullriding show. Performances feature riders and horses demonstrating Roman Riding, Trick Riding, Whip Cracking, Trick Horses and Trick roping.
English Horse Shows featuring the Texas Trick Riders are scheduled for:
Thursday, August 21 - 6:30 p.m.
Friday, August 22 - 1:00 and 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 23 - 6:30 p.m
Sunday, August 24 - Noon and 6:30 p.m.
Monday, August 25 - 12:30 (free show) and 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 26- 6:30 p.m
There are free shows beginning at 8:00 a.m. all day Wednesday, August 20, Thursday morning and afternoon August 21, Sunday morning, August 24, Monday August 25 at 12:30 p.m., and on Sunday morning, August 31. On Monday morning, September 1, the free show begins at 8:30 a.m. The Texas Trick Riders will not be presented at free shows, with the exception of the Monday August 25 12:30 p.m. and the Monday September 1 12:30 p.m. performances.

Box Seats: $10.00
General Admission, Adult (13 yrs. of age and older): $8.00
General Admission, Children (5-12yrs. of age): $4.00
Children, 4 & under: FREE

Or, if you prefer to receive a copy by mail, contact the Competition Office at (651) 288-4417 and request to be placed on the English Horse mailing list. Exhibitors who have entered within the past three years are already included on that list.
VEHICLE ADMISSION/OVERNIGHT PARKING INFORMATION: There is space west of the barns for Livestock and Horse exhibitors to park overnight during the fair.
