The Minnesota State Fairgrounds plays host to a number of events year-round. Fall and winter mean hockey at the State Fair Coliseum and the rest of the calendar is filled with other events. Just a few of the many returning events include the Minnesota Horse Expo, Living Green Expo, Friends School of MN Plant Sale and the Antique Spectacular Show and Flea Market.

Statewide horse show and knowledge competition for qualifying members of the 4-H Horse Program. The State 4-H Horse Show is the largest youth show in Minnesota. It is organized, managed and funded by the Minnesota 4-H Horse Association and volunteers.
