Grandstand lineup and how to purchase tickets

Important Information on Attending a Grandstand Concert

  • If you’re attending a Grandstand concert, please note that you also need to purchase an admission ticket to the fair. Fair admission is not included in your Grandstand ticket price. Learn more about fair admission tickets and discounts.
  • Grandstand entrances typically open one hour prior to performance time.
  • Will Call is located at the ticket office in Grandstand Plaza, east of the Grandstand, P23 on the State Fair map. Will Call windows open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled event and will generally remain open until the start of the headliner’s performance.
  • Tickets for Grandstand events and gate admission are non-refundable.
  • All paid Grandstand show seating is reserved, unless advertised as general admission.
  • All concerts go on, rain or shine. Concert bookings do not allow for refunds or exchanges in the event of rain. If weather appears threatening, please bring jackets or ponchos. Use of umbrellas is prohibited at the Grandstand.
  • Smoking (including the use of electronic cigarettes) is not allowed in the Grandstand seating areas. Smoking is allowed on the plaza level of the east and west ends behind the white lines. Ask an usher for further direction.
  • Audio and video recording equipment, as well as the use of "selfie sticks" or camera poles, is not allowed in the Grandstand.
  • A fireworks show follows each evening’s Grandstand show. Starting times vary, but usually begin between 10 and 11 p.m.
