The following information applied to the 2017 fair. We'll update 2018 details in the spring and summer!

The State Fair awards and displays the best Minnesota has to offer in livestock, farm products, creative arts, school projects and much more. Learn more about how to enter.

Overview:

  • 4-H: Exhibited in the 4-H Building, V18 on the State Fair map.
  • 4-H Livestock: For competition times and locations during the fair, use the Fun Finder search.
  • Ag-Hort-Bee: Exhibited in the Agriculture Horticulture Building, T28 on the State Fair map.
  • Creative Activities: Exhibited in the Creative Activities Building and Annex, W23 on the State Fair map. Work of seniors is exhibited in Ramberg Senior Center, Q29 on the State Fair map.
  • FFA: For competition times and locations, use the Fun Finder search or see the FFA Premium Book. Crops are exhibited in the Agriculture Horticulture Building, T28 on the State Fair map. Landscape design is exhibited outside on the east side of the CHS Miracle of Birth Center & FFA Leadership & Chapter House), O31 on the State Fair map. Safe Tractor driving contest is held outside AgStar Arena, F29 on the State Fair map.
  • Fine Arts: Exhibited in the Fine Arts Center, V16 on the State Fair map.

  • K-12 Competition: Exhibited in the Education Building, V21 on the State Fair map.
