TRAVEL TOGETHER! Groups arriving at the State Fair by bus may use the University of Minnesota Transitway to avoid traffic and park in a designated lot for free! Charter buses: Drivers should enter the Transitway off Energy Park Drive, just east of Highway 280. Charter buses will enter the fairgrounds at the Transitway entrance and turn right off the Transitway onto West Dan Patch Avenue, then turn left onto Randall Avenue. Follow Randall Avenue and turn right into the parking lot east of the Robin Lot. A parking lot attendant with direct you to the parking area. Guests will enter the fairgrounds through Randall Avenue (Gate #18). See a map.

PLAY TOGETHER! Our group hospitality staff has a variety of resources to make your day at the fair even more fun! Use our tools to: organize a fairgrounds scavenger hunt, a trivia contest or a game of State Fair BINGO; provide self-guided tour maps for the fair's beautiful gardens and sculptures; or help plan your activities with our "Best Bets Guide!" We also provide daily entertainment and activity schedules, so you won't miss a thing! Most exhibit buildings are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. For early arrivals, there is plenty of activity in the livestock area as animals are groomed and readied for judging.

EAT TOGETHER! Reward your group with Fairborne Bucks! Fairborne Bucks are the perfect way to treat members of your group to food and beverage options throughout the fairgrounds. Each of these dining vouchers has a value of $2.50 and may be used toward purchases at approximately 40 concession locations. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash; however, change will be given. Fairborne Bucks are available for purchase only through the Minnesota State Fair Ticket Office. Contact the ticket office at (651) 288-4427.

SAVE TOGETHER! While there is no group discount rate on gate admission tickets, attend the State Fair on special discount days for more savings. For information on group tickets, call the Minnesota State Fair Ticket Office at (651) 288-4427.
