Parking in State Fair lots is $11 or it can be paid with one additional pre-fair discount admission ticket. Discount tickets are available through August 25 at Cub Foods Stores or at the State Fair Box Office. You may also purchase them on line at www.mnstatefair.org through August 17.
Lots may be accessed off Larpenteur Avenue (must be traveling east) by turning south on Underwood Street through Gate #1; off Snelling Avenue (must be traveling south) by turning west on Hoyt Avenue and proceeding to Gate #0; or off Cleveland Avenue (must be traveling north) by turning east on Commonwealth (by the U of M St. Paul Campus) through Gate #15. Additional parking is available south of Como Avenue.
If you are hoping to park behind or around the Grandstand, enter via Gate #0 or Gate #15. There is no guaranteed parking as all lots are filled on a first come basis.
Parking spaces designated for vehicles with a valid disabled persons parking identification placard are located in many State Fair lots. Please see the map inside for exact locations. Cost is $11 or a pre-fair discount admission ticket. Vehicles with trailers will be charged $22 ($11 each) or two pre-fair tickets. Access to fairgrounds parking is available through Gate #1 off Larpenteur Avenue at Underwood Street, Gate #3 off Snelling Avenue at Hoyt Avenue and Gate #15 off Cleveland Avenue North at Commonwealth Avenue (U of M St. Paul Campus). Additional accessible parking is available south of Como Avenue.
The State Fair provides a free Park & Ride lot with free wheelchair-accessible bus service for people with disabilities and their companions. The lot is located on the north side of the Oscar Johnson Arena, 1039 De Courcy Circle, south of the fairgrounds. Exit from Snelling Avenue at Energy Park Drive; travel east to the first left past Snelling Avenue (east of Merrill Corp. office building), to north side of Oscar Johnson Arena. Passengers travel non-stop to the fairgrounds and are dropped off at the Como Loop Gate #9. Buses run continuously, approximately every 20 minutes, from 8 a.m. to midnight daily.
