Parking in State Fair lots is $13. (A pre-fair discount admission ticket may not be used to cover the cost of vehicle parking.) If you park on the fairgrounds and leave the lot, you must pay to re-park your vehicle when you return.
Lots may be accessed off Larpenteur Avenue (must be traveling east) by turning south on Underwood Street and off Snelling Avenue (must be traveling south) by turning west on Hoyt Avenue. Additional fairgrounds parking lots are available south of Como Avenue.
Public vehicle traffic and pedestrians are not permitted through West Dan Patch Avenue/Commonwealth Avenue (Gate #15) near the U of M St. Paul Campus.
If you are hoping to park behind or around the Grandstand, you must enter the fairgrounds at the intersection of Hoyt Avenue and Snelling Avenue.
There is no guaranteed parking as all lots are filled on a first-come basis.

Charter bus parking is available for groups.
Parking spaces designated for vehicles with a valid disabled persons parking identification placard are located in many State Fair lots. Cost is $13. Vehicles with trailers will be charged $26 ($13 each). Access to fairgrounds parking is available off Larpenteur Avenue at Underwood Street and off Snelling Avenue at Hoyt Avenue. Additional accessible parking is available south of Como Avenue.
The State Fair provides a free Park & Ride lot with free wheelchair-accessible bus service for people with disabilities and their companions. The lot is located on the north side of the Oscar Johnson Arena, 1039 De Courcy Circle, south of the fairgrounds. Exit from Snelling Avenue at Energy Park Drive; travel east on Energy Park Drive and turn left just after the Merrill Corp. Building to De Courcy Circle and proceed to the north side of Oscar Johnson Arena to park. Passengers travel non-stop to the fairgrounds and are dropped off at the Como Loop Gate #9. Buses run continuously from 8 a.m. to midnight daily.
