Parking in State Fairgrounds lots is $13 (cash only) and is paid for as you enter the gate to park. Please note: A pre-fair discount admission ticket cannot be used to cover the cost of vehicle parking.
There is no guaranteed parking as all lots are filled on a first-come basis.
Fairgrounds parking lots are open from 6 a.m. to midnight (6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Labor Day).
Overnight parking is not permitted in fairgrounds public parking lots. Learn more about overnight parking for livestock exhibitors.
If you park on the fairgrounds and leave the lot, you must pay to re-park your vehicle when you return.

Southbound: If you're heading south on Snelling Avenue, you will turn right onto Hoyt Avenue. You will then be directed to park in the Robin or Owl lots.
Northbound: If you're heading north on Snelling Avenue, exit on Como Avenue and turn left. You will then be directed into the lots south of Como Avenue. Please note that traffic control will, at busy times, prohibit left turns into the lots due to safety.
NOTE: Public vehicle traffic and pedestrians are not permitted through West Dan Patch Avenue/Commonwealth Avenue (Gate #15) near the U of M St. Paul Campus.
Parking spaces designated for vehicles with a valid disabled persons parking identification placard are located in many State Fair lots on a first-come basis. Cost is $13.
The State Fair provides a free Park & Ride lot with free wheelchair-accessible bus service exclusively for people with disabilities and their companions. The lot is located on the north side of the Oscar Johnson Arena, 1039 De Courcy Circle, south of the fairgrounds. Exit from Snelling Avenue at Energy Park Drive; travel east on Energy Park Drive and turn left just after the Merrill Corp. Building to De Courcy Circle and proceed to the north side of Oscar Johnson Arena to park. Passengers travel non-stop to the fairgrounds and are dropped off at the Como Avenue Loop Gate #9. Buses run continuously from 8 a.m. to midnight daily.
