This is the short list of good Fair food by Larry B
At the dairy booth in the Empire Commons building. This is a protective coating for your stomach before the fun begins.
Pork chop on a stick
Just outside the Empire Commons. Only 1 per person though, as you must leave room for the next one on the list.
Deep fried cheese curds
In the food building. How did I ever live without these little nuggets before I moved to MN.
In the building behind the food building. (to the north, west side) This will bring a slight sweat to your brow and a lasting memory. Just go enjoy it all.
Must Have Foods by Larry
Dairy Building Malt
Tom Thumb Donuts
Landmarks by LaDonna Peterson
I like to walk through and glance the entire selection before purchasing the cheese curds.
How nice to sit down, relax, have a cold beer, and watch some outdoor entertainment! (While eating the cheese curds)
Whatever you call it! Get the chocolate covered cashews! Watch the show! Relax!
Sister Traditions by L. R. Benkert
My sister and I have been Fair attendees for eleven straight years. The fact that I live in another state doesn't stop us. Upon entry to the Fair, we race to the shortest line at the french fry booth, across from the (Mighty!) Midway. We take our bucket to the nearby stands and sit, listening to the screams of joy (and surprise?) from the Adventure Park.
Roasted Corn or Donut holes
Gotta have something substantial, you know... :)
And by something, I mean *anything.*
Sweet Martha's Cookies (and one glass of milk to share)!
Perfect end to a perfect day.
