Leinie Lodge Bandshell
Home to some of the best free entertainment at the fair - including, my favorite, the nightly Amateur Talent Contest.
Giggles Campfire Grill
Home to the most delicious footlong walleye sandwich you'll ever taste. Take a peek around the back to enjoy some time eating on the picnic tables - there is always room!
Creative Activities Building
Home to the homemade. Take a walk through the maze of quilts, pies, jams, and other homemade goodies. Pretty amazing stuff...
Fine Arts Building
Home to the art. My favorites tend to be the photographs. It's a nice place to take a break from the sun.

Little Farm Hands
Kids LOVE this exhibit! This agricultural education exhibit is a mock up farm for kids. Children (ages 3-10) become farm hands at this free, hands-on exhibit as they are provided the opportunity to experience the agricultural process, beginning at the farm and ending at the market. Kids help with farm chores, collect goods to sell at the farmers market, and then spend their earnings on real products made from the farm at the grocery store.
Home Depot Kids Workshop
The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children.
Fine Arts Building
Art from classical to strange. This annual art exhibition is a result of a juried competition. Participation is open to all living residents of Minnesota, and each may submit one work for consideration.
Crop Art
See the amazing works of art in the Crop Art Gallery of the Ag-Hort-Bee building. Crop art involves the use of seeds instead of paints to create a work of art.

Bird Show from the Raptor Center
It's wonderful to see the strength of these birds in the show. You get to learn a lot about these birds and the wonders of their strength.
The Talent Shows on the Free Stage
When you need a few minutes of down time have a seat in the shade and listen to some wonderful new talent on the free stage near the main entrance
Local TV
Each of the main local stations have a spot at the fair and do their daily broadcasts there for the duration of the fair. I like to get there early and watch the show. Sometimes they also sample some of the new foods and share with the audience!
The skyride
This is a fun way to see the fair from above. You can buy one way tickets or round trip it's always neat to see the things you haven't visited yet and plan where to go to next.
