Poutlry Barn
This will be my 4th year showing chickens in 4H. I love it so much, and can't wait for this year! Wish me luck! I got Grand Champion Brown Egg Production Pen in 2007. -
Hanging out with Friends on the Grounds and in the Dorms
4th year going to the State Fair as a 4Her. I love hanging out with the kids that have been showing longer than I have, and helping out the newcomers. I'm a little disappointed about less dorm space this year, but I got a trip, so it will be amazing! I look forward to the State Fair every year! Hanging out with friends is the best at the fair! And we play spoons in the colosseum... I might see you there, I'll be in the large, screaming group :) -
Midnight Stroll to Sweet Martha's Cookies
I love going to get a bucket of cookies with my friend, but she can't go this year, because she tore her acl. But that is a great memory. Best cookies ever! -
Food!
Barn meals, cheese curds, corn on the cob, Sweet Martha's cookies, milkshakes, Cinnabon, and EVERYTHING ELSE AT THE FAIR! I can not wait!!!

Dances
4H exhibitors only! Must have a 4H button to get in, but they are the best thing ever! Livestock exhibitor dance in the swine barn, general project dances in the 4H building. If you are a fellow exhibitor, you can't miss these! -
Allergies in the Goat Barn
My friends show goats, and I'm always in the goat barn, but I have allergies. Oh well, its totally worth it! -
Education Building, and other Free Stuff
Can't wait to go on another search for all the free stuff we can find with my friends this year! The printout from the state fair website is very helpful! Wait in line for an hour to spin a wheel! I hope I don't leave all my goodies in the 4H dorm again :( -
Chicken Bath
I love washing my chickens at the State fair, and listening to people's comments "wow, look at her, she's washing a chicken!" Yes, chickens have to be clean for shows too.

Fastest Footlong
Each year I make a beeline to this footlong stand that is closest to the main entrance, no matter how early in the day. Great way to start out the Fair! -
Favorite People Watching
Corner of Carnes and Chambers. Great food nearby in case the scenery gets boring! -
Freakiest Favorite Tradition
Visit the Hog Barn to see the winner of the largest hog contest. For us city-slickers this is almost as fun as the Midway! -
Funnest Place to Re-Live a Favorite Childhood Moment
Any squirt gun game in the Midway! Now, even if I lose I love to watch my kids win!
