Scotch Eggs
We get a milkshake and a scotch egg near the barns for strength in the morning.
-
Turkey Jerky or meat stick
This depends on the coupon book (turkey jerky is under the Grandstand, meat sticks are by the lumberjack show) stash it in the backpack for on-demand snack without lines. goes well with corn.
-
Free food in the environment bldg
Usually some great Peace Coffee samples and new recipe cards to try. Also free, cold water at the Culligan booth.
-
Sweet Martha's Cookies
These are what we take home (and salt water taffy) after we eat the stack down so we can close the bucket. This means the day is over and it's time to head for the bus corral.

French Fries
My sister and I have been Fair attendees for eleven straight years. The fact that I live in another state doesn't stop us. Upon entry to the Fair, we race to the shortest line at the french fry booth, across from the (Mighty!) Midway. We take our bucket to the nearby stands and sit, listening to the screams of joy (and surprise?) from the Adventure Park.

Roasted Corn or Donut holes
Gotta have something substantial, you know... :)
-
Something deep-fried
And by something, I mean *anything.*
-
Sweet Martha's Cookies (and one glass of milk to share)!
Perfect end to a perfect day.
