  1. goats!!!!!
    Good googly moogly, if goats are not there, go home. State Fair ambassadors. Friendly, curious...watch your shirttails.
  2. roasted corn.
    It's buttery corn on the cob, that's roasted. What more is there to say?
  3. U of M dairy barn milkshakes.
    This is what wholesome tastes like.
  4. Prairie Home Companion followed by fireworks.
    Never mind the burny particles you have to brush off when its over. Don't wear flammables.

  1. GOATS!
    If the goats are not there, go home. They are the friendliest, coolest ambassadors of the Minnesota State Fair. Just watch your shirttails.
  2. Roasted Corn
    Corn on the cob, slathered in butter. Roasted. What more needs to be said?
  3. U of M Dairy Barn Shakes
    This is the taste of wholesome. Even on one of the coldest days at the Fair ever. Brr.
  4. Garrison Keillor and the Prairie Home Companion Show
    Pure genius! and fun to have the fireworks explode above you at the end. You just have to brush off the exploding riff raff when you are done. :)

Fair Fun by Judy Morneau

  1. Chickens and Chicks - Roosters too
    We like to hear them crow and cluck and see the feathery legs
  2. Pigs being born then watching them eat
    The biggest pig is always on our list of must see. We like to listen to them grunt and squeal
  3. Free Stuff and especially samples
    One year we got to brush our teeth at the fair! Then we got free toothpaste, food is fun too
  4. Rides are always fun
    The kiddee park in the morning and on special price days are the best treat. We like to ride around on the trolley too

  1. Fine Arts Building
    Could spend the entire 8 hrs. there, but have to move on to . .
  2. Fine Crafts
    Total time bring inspried and in awe.
  3. Outdoor entertainment
    Something for everyone. Cafe Accordion Orchestra !!!!
  4. Floral arranging
    Wishful thinking about own garden.
