A 4-Hers Guide to the State Fair by Ellen Corbett
Cows are basically the best animals on the planet, and if you ask a 4-Her nicely, you can probably even pet one! This is also #1 because I'll be bringing my heifer up to State this year, so come see me! (and you might even get to pet her ;] )
A Bucket of Sweet Martha's with All You Can Drink Milk
It's the perfect combination, and it's totally worth the wait! You'll need that milk and some friends to finish off all those cookies.
Theres something for everyone here! You could go to Ireland, China, and Mexico all in 45 minutes.
Honey Ice Cream
Where else would you get honey ice cream? There's also plenty of benches to sit and eat, or you can walk around and see all the cool stuff in the Horticulture building.
The Foodtastic 4... by Ellie
Even vegetable-haters enjoy it at the fair, because it can't be good for you when it tastes THIS good.
Salmon on a Stick.
Puts a little bit of class into your favorite fair food form. Plus you can wash it down with a frosty shandy.
Frozen Apple Cider.
In the Horticulture building. The best $2 you'll ever spend in your whole life, and some of the friendliest people at the whole fair. (Honorable mention in the same building goes to the chocolate wine ice-cream.)
Pickle on a Stick
This is what my dreams have been made of since childhood. The bigger, the saltier, the more flourescent-green-tinted, the better.
