the best French fries, just like my mom would make when I was a kid
I can never get enough of the shopping in the Grandstand...another family tradition
we always visit the food building...something for everyone and we have to have cheese curds and Danielsons onion rings
since our kids were old enough to ride the mighty mouse, we have been taking them on the ride and purchasing the picture. They are the most fun to look at to see how the kids have grown...the are 17 and 18 now and we started when the were 5

The race track
I miss the stock car races. These were a family tradition. Remember when they had snowmobile racing in the winter also.
The Mexican Village was a great place to shop every year you could find great deals. The Bazaar is just not the same.
Peter's Weiners stand in the East Room
It was a family tradition to stop at in the East Room of the Grand stand for lunch. Remember when you could get a hot dog for a dime & a Coke for nickel?
Camping at the fair
Yes you can still camp at the fair but unfortunately our family no longer does. I was part of the four generations that camped at the State Fair. Oh The memories
