  1. Free Shows at Leinie Lodge
    Good Free entertainment.
  2. DNR Building and Pond
    See the fish you wish you could catch. Never forget a raptor flying overhead.
  3. Fine Arts and Creative Arts
    Always something pretty to look at.
  4. Rodeo
    I fear for them when they do something so risky as amateurs.

  1. mini donuts
    It just isn't the fair without mini donuts. The Tom thumb are my favorite.
  2. the giant pumpkin
    you have to go see the giant pumpkins every year then swing by the crop art and the honey bees.
  3. the midway
    We always like to walk through the midway at night with all the lights on it's really beautiful.
  4. fireworks
    I always like ending the night with the fireworks display and on the way out we buy our mom a bucket of fries ( maybe half make it home).

    My best friend, Julianne, and I go the first day and shop like mad. We bring a cart and fill it at least twice with all of our goods!
  2. Blue Heron Soap
    Great soap - they offer a deal and the scents are wonderful! They are so big I slice them in half

    T-shirts (and other things) for CHEAP! 2nd floor of the Grandstand

Things I buy EVERY YEAR by Julianne

  1. Mia Chompita
    I am not 100% that this is the exact name- but they are in the Internation Bazaar and they sell sweater jackets, (amongst other things). I buy them for my girls every year! They are beautiful and a great fall coat- everyone thinks I made them myself!
  2. Blue Heron Soap
    This is in Heritage Square and it is hand made soaps. they have a deal if you buy five I think. I buy about 10 bars every year and give them as gifts. There are tons of scents!
  3. Northern Tool
    This is down my machinery hill and they have GREAT deals. I fill my husbands, my father, and my father in laws stockings every year from their shelves.
  4. The Dog Perk
    The Dog Perk is in the Pet Center, and he sells home made dog treats. They are inexpensive and Rover LOVES them. I buy a ton and freeze them and they last for months!
