The Ferris Wheel
The really really really big one.
Sit in a chair and go in a circle.

the giant slide
I like the giant slide because it is fast.
I like the skyride because I can see the whole fair.
the mirror maze
I like the mirror maze because it has a challenge.
the river raft
I like the river raft because you get wet.
Ree Bee's MNSF Fav's by Marie
I ALWAYS make my family go to the fair with me on the fist weekend because that is the only time the ADORABLE bunnies are there.
I love the licorice flavored taffy you can get at the stand outside the food building. It's a staple year year.
I enjoy going to the International Market area. It is a great time.
Sweet Martha's and Milk
The last thing we do every year is get a bucket of cookies and milk and sit watching people and reliving the time we just had.
REAL Fair Food! by Mr. Al in Kentucky
At the fair, I try to eat things that remind me of the rural farming communities of Minnesota. One of these is the sweet corn at the stand near the grandstand. Minnesota is a big corn producing state!
Swedish Meatballs/Egg Coffee
The Swedish meatballs and egg coffee at the Salem Lutheran Church dining hall bring back memories of the many Swedish Meatball Dinners of my home church, Marshall Lutheran Church, rural Adams, Minn.
I go to Andres Watermelon stand on Underwood St. at least three times during the fair. The fresh watermelon reminds me of the many home gardeners in Minn.
Ham Loaf Dinner
At least one ham loaf dinner at Hamline United Methodist Church dining hall is a must during the fair. Brings back memories of the many hogs we raised on our farm in Clayton Township, Mower County. We sold all of our hogs to Hormel's in Austin where they were processed into many good hams!
