Delicious Belgian Waffles on a stick. Covered with chocolate, whipped cream and sprinkles. So light and fluffy you'll have two! And there is usually a coupon in the bargain book.
Australian Battered Potatoes
Sliced potatoes, battered and deep fried then topped with cheese or ranch sauce. We get a large order on a way in the gate and on the way out! Near the park and ride entrance!
The Cheese Curds in the food building are the best! We stop there every year and share a couple of orders.
The best battered hotdog on a stick! And don't confuse them with a corn dog they aren't the same. Many locations but we are fond of the one in frong of the 4-H building. My sister has been known to eat 5 in one day at the fair!

Sampler Booth at Creative Activities Bldg
Love the selection of fabrics, kits, and Bernina machines-can't wait to see what is new this year!
Any of the mini donut booths - they are worth waiting a year (and better for the waistline)
Agriculture Building - apples
Going to the fair and getting a bag of fresh apples is a yearly tradition. One year we waited too long & the building was closed. I cried all the way home.
Fine Arts Building
What a great place to see into the minds of those of us who are creative and brave enough to put their view of the world on display for the rest of us to enjoy!
Desi's Family #2 by Desiree
Just plain yummy. Italian sausage on a roll with sauce and cheese.
My nephew has to have these every year after we leave the dog building. They are so yummy and you can take a cup home with you. Cinni Mini's with ice cream are how we roll!
Mom has to have the BIG bucket of fries from the big stand. We all whine about her ordering the big bucket because we say we don't need all of it. But in the end we clean out the bucket.
So light and fluffy you can eat them on a full stomach! Outside of Heritage Square.
