    Riding the giant slide with my dad (we race) is a MUST every year. My mom watches from below.
  2. St. Ben's booth in the Education Bldg
    Now that I'm an alum, I must hit the booth to find out what free giveaway they have!
  3. Biggest Boar/Biggest Pumpkin
    How can you NOT want to see the biggest livestock & produce in the state???
  4. All the food
    I don't have just 1 favorite - I like it all!!!

  1. Sweet Martha's Cookie Jar
    You can buy a paper cone overflowing with the best cookies I've ever eaten, or buy a whole bucket full of them to bring home! They hardly lasted a few days when I stayed up there last year.
  2. There's a grocery store!
    Yes, considering everything else up at the Minnesota State Fair, there's a grocery store, too! It's in the alley behind the poultry barn, and that is where they make some huge, delicious sub sandwiches! You can also buy an assorted amount of other things, from apples (to escape the fried food lining every street), any type of bottled drink that floats your boat, or to flip-flops in case of a shoe crisis.
  3. Cultural Bazaar
    It's a must, every year we take a walk through the Cultural Bazaar. Not only do they have amazing food from darn near everywhere, but they also have a lot of other things too; jewelry, clothing, and many sorts of cultural art.
  4. The Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum
    Another must, we always walk around the Coliseum, just inside the doors there's a ring of little shops that encircles the Coliseum. Just make sure you remember which doors you came in, you don't want to get mixed up by walking out the wrong door!

    For a turkey leg of course.

    For olives on a stick.
  3. The Food Building
    Just for all the smells.

    Have to have the bag of apples for home and a frozen cider to walk around with.
