Fabulous Fair Four by Amber Rasmusson
Head to the Mouse Hole inside of the Cub Foods building and pay for your ticket to curd paradise. It gets a little warm in the building - but it's worth it! The line usually goes quicker than the outside line.
Head to the MN Turkey Growers and grab the best turkey sandwich of YOUR LIFE! They deep fry their turkeys, slap them on a white bun and let you have your way with their BBQ sauce on the counter. You'll be a fair addict for life once you try these! Located East side of Clough between Judson and Carnes
Gyros! Gyros! GYROS!
Located inside of the Bazaar, on the South Wall. Head to Holy Land Deli and ask for a gyro with everything on it. These, believe it or not, compliment any beer you'll find inside the Bazaar, and it compliments them well!
Beer on a Stick
Brought to you by your favorite local brewers at Summit Brewery. Located directly inside and to the right of the Bazaar entrance. There are three smaller taps snugly fit into their own homes on a stick that you can carry around and enjoy. The sticks sold out quickly last year so get there early and enjoy! Responsibly of course.
Footlongs and Mini Donuts by Heather Hansen Mead
Excellent source of yummy goodness complete with mustard, ketchup, and onions.
Fried batter smothered in sugar, sugar, and more sugar. Very hot right off the press but goes good with ice cold milk.
A must-have for accompanying mini donuts or sweet martha's cookies. Drink lots. There's more.
Corn on the Cob
I always buy two and smother them in butter, salt, and a little sprinkle of pepper.
"Best of..." by Amanda Dale
Best of the Ag-Hort Building, the Peg Muffin is the only way to start your fair adventure.
Best Food of the North Woods, served at Giggle's, a perfect snack just before or after your trip through Little Farm Hands.
Kiwanis Malt and Pronto Pup
Best of Baldwin Park, it's the perfect combo of sweet and salty - and the stands are right next to each other.
Best of Heritage Square, just on the corner near the first aid station...YUM-O.
my state fair traditions by Dawn Kane
the best French fries, just like my mom would make when I was a kid
I can never get enough of the shopping in the Grandstand...another family tradition
we always visit the food building...something for everyone and we have to have cheese curds and Danielsons onion rings
since our kids were old enough to ride the mighty mouse, we have been taking them on the ride and purchasing the picture. They are the most fun to look at to see how the kids have grown...the are 17 and 18 now and we started when the were 5
