"Speedy's - by the DNR building; best foot long at the fair.
I love everything about the fair; have missed one year since I came to Minnesota at 16; I would go everyday if I could (suggestion: some kind of pass)

Dairy - Cheese Curds
Stop by the cheese curd stand in the food building for the greasy foundation any and all visits to the Minnesota State Fair needs. Grab a bladder buster of pop across the aisle for cheap and for balance.
Would any visit to the Great Minnesota Get Together be complete without a corn dog? Normal or footlong...it doesn't matter when you taste this staple. Plus, it is a good follow up to some curds.
Corn on the Cob
At the very least, do it for your mother? Would it kill you to eat a vegetable? When it comes to roasted corn on the cob, you get the best of both worlds. You make your mother happy and you get fresh, Minnesota-grown corn on the cob dipped in a bat of butter. Add a little salt and pepper if you feel crazy.
Sweet Martha's Cookies
You did your part and ate your vegetables; now it is time for the reward - freshly baked, mouth-watering cookies for dessert! A bucket travels to the All-You-Can-Drink Milk Stand and to your home perfectly.

Ye Old Mill
Must take a boat ride with my family to relax, cool off and enjoy the quiet of the dark tunnels on this old nostalgic ride.
Must see the giant boar in the swine barn and be amazed at how much it ate to grow that large.
Must stop and get a free honey sample in the Horticulture building. Then pick up some honey sticks 5/$1 to take home. My kids love them!
