400 miles for a curd! by Jon White

  1. Mouth Trap Cheese Curds
    My family of six travels 400 miles from KC each year to get our hands on these cheese curds. Nothing satisfies my soul like seeing all my kids devour the one thing I crave all year.
  2. Tiny Tim Donuts
    Or are they Tom Thumb? I don't know or care, as long as they're hot and I get a boat load of them.
  3. The Gyros!
    I tried some last year for the first time, right next to the place that makes crepes. Insanely, far and away, the best gyro I've had in my life.
  4. Honorable Mention
    My wife and I crave these all year long: Sweet martha's cookies, deep fried pickles, roasted corn, honey ice cream, fried green tomatoes. Dang it, how am I supposed to make it another month before I get there!?!?!?!?!?!
