foods that make me heppy by Mary K by Mary Kalusche
"About A" Footlong
So juicy and delicious with a lot of raw onions. My breakfast every year at the fair
"Gourmet Pickles" - a new treat for me -- cream cheese between 2 pickle slices, then deep fried- what a wonderful treat -- will have to make them!!
Anything walleye or sunfish -- sunfish boat, walleye cakes and fingers -- yummy
Good coffee -- hot or cold
The Ultimate Must-Have List by Ryan Harris
Usually get 2 when I go. Much better than corn dogs and are lighter so you can eat more!!!
From the "Original Cheese Curds" place off Dan Patch. This is the only place to get them, other stands just do not even come close.
Sweet Marathas Cookies
Don't waste your money paying $6 for a tiny little cone of cookies, get the bucket and get much more for your money.
Tom Thumb Mini Donuts

My "GOTTA HAVE 'EM" foods at the fair!!!! by Jule Z
Abouta Foot Long Hot Dog
Bigger than the bun juicy skin on hot dog with tons of raw onions!!
Key Lime Bar
Cold, tangy, refreshing key lime pie on a graham cracker crust, dipped in dark chocolate and frozen on a stick - - absolutely delish!!!!!
The big one with the vanilla whip cream - best way to eat it is just let it get all over your face and enjoy!!!
Coffee Blenter or Hot coffee at Java Joint
Coffee blenders for hot days! They are a slushy, refreshing, brain freezing coffee (I always sip it too fast!!)- and if it's cooler outside the fresh, strong, hot coffee of the day is a must!
I Can't Wait! by Marcelino Puente
Games, Rides and shows. The Midway has been a personal favorite of mine since I was a small child. Where else can you win your special someone a stuffed animal and throw out your arm all in one shot?
Deep Fried Turkey Sandwich
The most incredible sandwich at the fair, or in St Paul for that matter! Salty, buttery, deep fried to a delicious crisp. This heart clogger is worth the trip to the dairy section!
Take the tour of all the free music the fair has to offer. If you are unable to find music to fit your taste, you should look into getting the internet.
Start with a free bag and spend the day walking the grounds to fill it up. While you're at it, have your eyes, heart, and blood preasure checked at the same time. The fair is the best bargain in town in terms of value.
