The 4 things I like best by nineinches4him
Pork Chop on a stick, Gyro sandwich, Cheese curds, and we always finish with a bucket of Sweet Martha's and the all you can drink milk!
At the pet center I love to watch the K-9 demonstrations. Then I go around to all the dog booths and pet the different breeds.
I love seeing all the different shapes n sizes AND checking out hot young dudes.
State Fair shuttle busses
Brings you to the front entrance and you don't have to pay for parking!

Sweet Martha's Cookies!
At some point in the day (or twice, if I've got my sweet tooth on), I MUST get my cookie on! Lines don't seem to be as long at about 5:30-6pm....
Lee& Rose Warner Coliseum
Growing up a city kid, I loved going into the Coliseum to see the horse shows, both the English and the Western-- totally different, but still they show off the best of the animal & handler.
Now that it's completely remodeled and doesn't feel like a fire hazard, the International Bazaar is a GREAT place to find ethnic deals! From purses to toys, dresses to leather goods, live music and amazing cultural food choices-- the IB has it ALL!
From the Grandstand to the Leinie's Bandshell-- you MUST check out the talented musicians that give the fair it's groove! Ecclectic and amazing-- most of the stages are always packed with someone getting down with their favorite music!

4-H Fun! by Leah
State 4-H Arts In Show
Put on by some of the most talented teens in the state, this is a free half-hour song and dance show that is performed 3 to 4 times daily in the 4-H Building. It's a hidden gem.
4-H Fashion Revue
4-Hers strut their stuff on the catwalk showing their latest constructed or purchased garments. Earlier that day, they get modeling tips from none other than the great local legend Richard Moody.
It's amazing what these 4-Hers can do and make! Walking around the building to see their projects is inspiring. My favorites are the photography and woods exhibits.
State 4-H Ambassadors
Make sure you walk through the front door to be greeted by the State Ambassadors. These leaders promote the 4-H program, volunteer with 4-H programming throughout the fair and throughout the year, and are always willing to help you out with any question or need.
