  1. Danielson & Daughter's Onion Rings
    They are my first stop at the fair. They are located outside the south side of the Food Building.
  2. Cheese Curds
    I will only eat the original cheese curds, the ones that use to be in the Food Building. They still have a booth outside on Dan Patch and Underwood.
  3. Wild Rice Burger
    It was wonderful. They are located in the Food Building.
  4. Tom Thumb Donuts
    We always have to get these at least once.

Four "Must-Have" Fair Eats by Larry Ellis Reed

  1. Hamline UMC Dining Hall's ham loaf
    Old school church dining hall dining at its finest--a little greasy, but served with love and affection (and a somewhat sweetish sauce on top).
  2. Sweet Martha's chocolate chip cookies
    Especially when you're able to get a cup of malted milk (I prefer vanilla) to dip them in; what a treat!
  3. Gelato
    Italian ice cream--and with plenty of interesting flavours to try, even in a large dish!
  4. Battered cheese curds
    Just because--need I say more?

  1. Pork Chops on a stick
    The original from Chicken N Chops
  2. Corn Roast
    Best if you can swing a 2-1 by waiting until they have 2 cobs w/ the ends lopped off.
  3. Big Fat Bacon On A Stick
    I only wish they could make it bigger!
  4. Sweet Martha's cookie's
    They never make it home...Best eaten rigth away- warm from the oven.
