Little fair fans become little farm hands at this pint-size mock farm experience for ages 3-10. Ride a tractor, milk a cow, learn about pollinators & soil, and try lots of hands-on activities! The Ag-Vestigator activity has junior farm hands answer questions through the journey around the farm to earn a ribbon. Every hour on the hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., USDA/NRCS will present "Can You Dig it? Get the Scoop on Soil," a hands-on activity for kids and adults alike.

CHS Miracle of Birth Center

This agricultural education exhibit is the birthplace of nearly 200 animals, including calves, lambs and piglets, during the fair's 12-day run. The center also encompasses the Hen House exhibit and the Christensen Farms Stage, located outside. Partners include the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, FFA, University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, and the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation.

Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild

Description:
The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild’s “Land of 10,000 Beers” exhibit showcases the history and evolution of beer, specifically craft beer, in Minnesota. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste style-specific flights featuring beers from nearly 100 breweries and brewpubs from around Minnesota, with flights rotating throughout each day. This year’s exhibit will also feature educational programming and presentations all 12 days of the Fair. Topics ranging from “what you need to know about hops” to “women in beer” will be discussed by expert panels and industry representatives. Catch these presentations at 3 and 6 p.m. on weekdays and noon, 3 and 6 p.m. on weekends. Come out and join the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild to taste our state’s finest brews while learning the history and processes that bring them to your glass.

Minnesota Newspaper Museum

Description:
A newspaper living-history exhibit with demonstrations of the Linotype and Miehle printing press. See how type is set for the newspaper "The Maynard News." The lead to set type is heated to 550 degrees and creates one "line-of-type" at a time. This Miehle Printing Press prints newspaper pages, one side of one sheet with each revolution. To print the other side of the page, the operator must turn the pages over and print on the back side of each sheet. Demonstrations begin at 10 a.m. and continue throughout the day. Operated by the Minnesota Newspaper Foundation.
