An innovative and versatile performer, Billy McLaughlin astounds audiences with the breadth of sound he draws from an acoustic guitar. He is recognized internationally as a world-class guitarist and composer who has appeared on Billboard's Top Ten Chart. A decade ago, McLaughlin’s career fell victim to a neurological disease called focal dystonia. It made the muscles of his hand involuntarily clench, and he became unable to play most of his repertoire. He refused to give up and incredibly taught himself to play left-handed.
