Four-legged friends are the main attraction at the Pet Center. This exhibit features Minnesota Purebred Dog Breeders Association exhibits and demonstrations; the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association's Surgery Suite; photos of animals from local humane societies who are up for adoption; and other pet-oriented shops and merchants. Nearly 50 pet surgeries are performed live in the MVMA Surgery Suite throughout the run of the fair and are projected on overhead television screens for fair guests to view. The adjacent outdoor demonstration area is home to action-packed canine agility presentations that run most of the day every day of the fair. For more details about the Pet Center, use the State Fair Fun Finder or view a daily schedule.

Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily; Located on the northeast corner of Murphy Avenue and Underwood Street. See a State Fair map.
