LIVESTOCK VEHICLE ADMISSION AND OVERNIGHT PARKING INFORMATION

Livestock and Horse exhibitors who wish to park their camping and RV units on the grounds must complete an Overnight Livestock Parking Reservation request.

Overnight Livestock Parking Reservation Request opens the first Monday in June (June 1, 2015) at 8 a.m. This is a REQUEST for space only; no payment is accepted at the time of reservation request. System closes June 26, 2015; no more requests will be accepted after that time.

NEW: Due to the tremendous popularity of the online request system (last year, more than 70% of the requests were submitted in the first 15 minutes), we have instituted a change in procedure in order to provide a more equal opportunity for exhibitors and improve the accuracy of submitted requests.

All requests made between 8 a.m. and 8:59 a.m. Monday, June 1, will be put into a computer-generated lottery and will be filled in that order. Anyone who successfully completes a request in the first hour will have an equal chance in securing a camping spot. Any requests made at 9 a.m. or later will be filled or wait-listed in the order in which they are date-and-time stamped by the online process.

Exhibitors who elect to go through this process should be prepared to supply the following:

  • first and last name
  • farm, stable, saddleclub, FFA chapter or 4-H county (check ALL that apply)
  • address, city, state, and zip
  • phone number, cell phone number and email address
  • number of campers (adult and children)
  • department(s) in which exhibiting (enter all that apply); must include early camper drop off at time of reservation (if needed)
  • unit type (popup, bumper hitch, fifth wheel, truck camper, RV, semi tractor, horse trailer [with living quarters], other)
  • dimensions of camping unit including slide-outs fully extended, in feet and inches: length including tow vehicle (if applicable), length excluding tow vehicle, and width
  • requests for tow vehicle (keep with camper, keep with trailer, or use for daily parking)
  • electric amp requests
  • requests for accessible parking (must possess a valid and current accessibility parking placard or license plate)

Additional information is included in the Livestock Parking Information document (available at right). For rate information, please view or print the 2015 Livestock Lots Parking Fee Schedule (link will be active when information is available).

Exhibitors who are unable to enter via the online system may elect to send in a paper form (available at right). Forms received prior to June 1 cannot be processed until the reservation request system opens at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 1. There is no advantage to mailing in or dropping off; staff will not have access to the Reservation Request system until 8 a.m. the day it opens. We cannot promise that your request will be processed prior to the 8:59 a.m. lottery deadline.
