WHERE & WHEN TO SEE THE ANIMALS

This schedule outlines where and when animals will be on the fairgrounds throughout the 12 days of the fair. The types of animals to see change throughout the fair, so be sure to check dates and times carefully. Please see daily schedules or the State Fair Fun Finder for the most complete schedules. Use a State Fair map to find barn locations. All information subject to change.

Thursday, Aug. 25

  • Barns for Cattle, Sheep & Poultry (including 4-H rabbits) and Swine (including 4-H boer and dairy goats): 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Horse Barn: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Baa, Moo & Oink Booths: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Horse Show features Hunter and Jumper classes (schedule).

Friday, Aug. 26

  • Barns for Cattle, Sheep & Poultry (including 4-H rabbits) and Swine (including 4-H boer and dairy goats): 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Horse Barn: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Baa, Moo & Oink Booths: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Horse Show features Draft Horse Hitches, Arabians and Morgans (schedule), as well as the Jumper Championships (schedule).

Saturday, Aug. 27

  • Barns for Cattle, Sheep & Poultry (including 4-H rabbits) and Swine (including 4-H boer and dairy goats): 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Horse Barn: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Baa, Moo & Oink Booths: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Horse Show features Draft Horse Hitch and Halter Classes, English and Western Breeds and more (schedule).

Sunday, Aug. 28
Note: All barns (excluding the Horse Barn and CHS Miracle of Birth Center) close early for Livestock Arrival & Departure.

  • Barns for Cattle, Sheep & Poultry (including 4-H rabbits) and Swine (including 4-H boer and dairy goats): 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Horse Barn: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Baa, Moo & Oink Booths: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • The Horse Show features Miniatures, Draft Horses, Arabians, Morgans and more (schedule).

Monday, Aug. 29

  • Barns for Cattle, Sheep and Swine (including boer goats): 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Horse Barn: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Poultry Barn: noon to 8 p.m.
  • Baa, Moo & Oink Booths: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Hop, Flop & Sniff Rabbit Display: noon to 8 p.m. in the Poultry Barn
  • The Horse Show features Half Arabian Mounted Costume, Hunter Pleasure Championships, the Signature Class Cutting Competition, Western Pleasure Championships and more (schedule). Don't miss the Draft Horse Supreme Six-Horse Hitch at 2 p.m. in the Warner Coliseum!

Tuesday, Aug. 30

  • Barns for Cattle, Sheep & Poultry and Swine (including boer goats): 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Horse Barn: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Baa, Moo & Oink Booths: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Hop, Flop & Sniff Rabbit Display: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Poultry Barn
  • The Horse Show features the Signature Class Cutting Horse Competition at 3 p.m. in AgStar Arena and the Signature Indoor Polo Classic Series at 6 p.m. in the Warner Coliseum.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

  • Barns for Cattle, Sheep & Poultry and Swine (including boer goats): 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Horse Barn: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Baa, Moo & Oink Booths: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Hop, Flop & Sniff Rabbit Display: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Poultry Barn
  • Llamas arrive at noon. 4-H llamas and alpacas are housed in the Horse Barn (north side). Open class llamas are housed in AgStar Arena. Don't miss 4-H Lama Costume at 6 p.m. in AgStar Arena.
  • The Horse Show features Western Saddle Clubs Association competition and Appaloosa, Paint, Pinto, Quarter horses (schedule).

Thursday, Sept. 1
